We are seeking a qualified Custodian to join our team at the Calhoun County Board of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is approximately $35,000 per year, based on experience and education level, plus a competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Job Responsibilities- Maintain buildings clean and free of refuse.
- Operate heating and cooling systems.
- Make minor repairs.
- Perform duties in a support capacity including, but not limited to, facilitating in the instruction and direct or indirect supervision of pupils under the direction of a principal, a teacher, or another designated professional educator.
- Employees who already hold a Custodian classification will be accepted as duly qualified.
- Applicants shall successfully pass the classification test and receive satisfactory evaluations.
We offer a competitive benefits package, including salary based on experience and education level, plus approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Work EnvironmentThe work schedule for this position will be based on need, with locations to be determined by location/shift.
