We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cluster Home Counselor to join our Adult Disabilities Services team at MAB Community Services. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Position

This is a part-time position working approximately 30 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support.

You will be responsible for supporting individuals in cluster homes, facilitating community integration, administering medications, maintaining accurate records, and participating in staff meetings and case reviews.


Key Responsibilities
  • Individual Support: Provide individualized support to participants in cluster homes, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Community Engagement: Facilitate community engagement by accompanying participants to appointments, work, errands, and recreational activities.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Assist with maintenance and housekeeping tasks in cluster homes, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, complete progress reports, and participate in staff meetings and case reviews.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with participants, families, coworkers, and community professionals.
  • Driving and Transportation: Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles.
  • Certifications: MAP Certification, CPR, and First Aid certificates (training provided).

Compensation and BenefitsEstimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
