Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients on the examining table and place coils close to the area of interest, following protocols requested by radiologists.
  • Demonstrate the use of microphones to facilitate communication between patients and technologists during examinations.
  • Enter patient data, such as history, anatomical areas to be scanned, and orientation, into the computer.
  • Observe patients through the control room window and on closed-circuit TV to monitor safety and comfort.
  • View images of scanned areas on video display screens to ensure quality.
  • Alert staff entering the magnet room to the danger of wearing or carrying metal around the magnet.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years' experience as an MRI Technician.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Ability to work independently.
Certifications & Licensure
  • NJ State RT License.
  • MR Certified.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Covid Vaccination Required: The primary vaccine series plus at least one booster or The Bivalent COVID vaccine that was first offered in September 2023 or The Monovalent COVID vaccine.
