The Defense Health Agency is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Irwin Army Community Hospital. As a Supervisory Counseling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing clinical services to patients, including evaluations, counseling, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to patients
  • Supervise and mentor mental health professionals to ensure high-quality care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling or clinical psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current, active, valid, unrestricted master's level counseling/psychologist license from a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction
  • At least one year of specialized experience in clinical psychology, including evaluating and counseling patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and supervising mental health professionals
