Our 37-bed adult medical-surgical unit specializes in the management of chronic ventilator patients and peritoneal dialysis patients, making it a unique and challenging opportunity for a skilled nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and function as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patients with respiratory issues, infectious diseases, and other complex medical conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Less than 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, registered to practice in Maryland.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
