QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing diploma from an accredited institution. License: Valid RN license in the state of Florida or equivalent endorsement. Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required prior to employment, along with any additional certifications specific to the unit.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in understanding and communicating written and verbal instructions in English.
- Strong organizational capabilities, including effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to cultivate a collaborative team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Requires physical agility, including walking, standing, and lifting throughout the majority of the shift.
- Involves heavy lifting or moving of objects, potentially exceeding 100 pounds, with or without assistance.
