KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Taking drink orders from guests or staff, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and company standards; serving wine and bottled beer or pouring draft beer.
  • Serving alcoholic beverages responsibly, verifying age through identification, and complying with all company policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Inputting drink orders into the cash register, processing payments from customers, and providing accurate change.
  • Accurately completing sales and inventory documentation.
  • Managing bar inventory by ordering or requesting liquors, beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
  • Cleaning and organizing bar equipment and stock.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least two years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
  • Experience with cash handling and credit card transactions.
  • Prior experience with a computerized point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions are required.
  • Capability to lift stock weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels during peak times.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
