- Prepare and administer medications, reviewing medication cards for accuracy and completeness.
- Review resident care plans to ensure goals, problems, approaches, and revisions align with nursing needs.
- Develop and implement programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures to provide quality care.
- Provide leadership to nursing personnel and make daily rounds to ensure staff is providing direct care in accordance with resident care plans.
- Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN in this state.
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines related to nursing care facilities.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
