Job Overview:
ISC Engineering is on the lookout for a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to become a part of our Electrical and Instrumentation Department.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, and drafters to create construction work packages specifically tailored for the chemical and refining sectors.

This role is designed to propel recent graduates into a successful career path, managing projects from initial concept through to construction. Applicants should possess the capability to:

• Develop and/or assess designs and installations to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards, codes, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.
• Be accountable for the Electrical and Instrumentation design basis on assigned projects.
• Define specifications for budgetary quotes and estimates related to equipment and designs as required.

• Evaluate design deviations and propose solutions.
• Compile detailed construction bid packages for project execution.
• Assist in formulating cost estimates for various scopes of work.
• Provide innovative and alternative solutions as needed.
• Support electrical engineering tasks within multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Make informed technical decisions.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to foster effective teamwork.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Engineer in Training (EIT) or the potential to obtain licensure.
• Co-op or internship experience in the Oil & Gas sector is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• TWIC Card or the capability to obtain one.
• Willingness to conduct job walks and site visits to client facilities.
