Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist PRN to join our team at TriStar Horizon Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in patient care, conducting diagnostic tests, performing therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway status
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures and administer respiratory therapies
  • Assist with artificial airway placement and mechanical ventilation
  • Monitor patient responses to therapy and intervene as needed
  • Handle transportation of ventilator-dependent patients
  • Ensure airway integrity and ventilation during emergency situations
Requirements
  • STABLE certification within 60 months of employment
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist license
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and other certifications as required
