Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental wellbeing, tracking vital signs
  • Performing intakes of residents, documenting health concerns and medical histories
  • Reviewing medical records and charts of residents
  • Properly administering medications and verifying their accuracy
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of medical supplies
  • Contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for residents
  • Assisting with IV set-ups, vaccinations, and phlebotomies
  • FOLLOWING CARE PLANS FOR RESIDENTS AND HELPING MEDICAL STAFF WITH ORIENTATION AND TRAINING

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Rhode Island state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved LPN educational program
  • High school graduation, GED, or equivalent
  • Degree from an approved LPN training program
  • At least 6 months of experience as an LPN or similar role
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
