Job Summary:

The Cardiac Neuro Registered Nurse is responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others.

Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
  • 1+ years of recent RN acute care experience required.
  • Telemetry and Cardiac experience required.
  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse license.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
  • NIHSS Certification must obtain within 30 days.
