Job Summary

CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances (NETX) is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and advanced imaging/diagnostic procedures using advanced CT equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Performs a range of imaging procedures, including CT scans, to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Equipment Operation: Operates advanced CT equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Patient Care: Demonstrates competency in starting and maintaining intravenous (IV) access using high-speed, pressurized injection equipment.
  • Contrast Evaluation: Evaluates patients for clinical contrast history to identify any potential contradictions.
  • Assistance: Assists radiologists in invasive and biopsy-type procedures using CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
  • Exam Room Preparation: Ensures exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked prior to exams.
  • Infection Control: Ensures compliance with infection control standards.
  • Charge Entry: Correctly codes and enters all charges.
  • Patient Adaptation: Appropriately adapts to assigned patient assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, age-specific, and other developmental needs.
  • Confidentiality: Performs all duties in a manner that protects patient confidentiality and does not solicit or disclose confidential information unless necessary for job duties.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience.
  • Comfort Level: Must be comfortable working in the ER.
  • Travel Experience: Travel experience required.
  • Licensure: TX MRT licensure.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS (AHA only).
Schedule Information
  • Shift: 7a-8:30p, Friday-Sunday.
  • Length: 12 weeks.
  • Guarantee: 39 hours, with OT opportunity after 40 hours.
