Key ResponsibilitiesThe Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. This includes:
- Performing diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitoring patients receiving both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
- State certification as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.
- An Associate Degree or equivalent from a vocational school.
