Key Responsibilities

The Certified Respiratory Therapist is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care. This includes:

  • Performing diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitoring patients receiving both invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (to be obtained within 30 days of employment).
  • State certification as a Respiratory Therapy Technician.
  • An Associate Degree or equivalent from a vocational school.
