Cedars-Sinai Department of Medicine is a leading institution in medical research, recognized for its clinical, research and academic programs, and commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Principal Investigators to prepare and submit federal and non-federal grants.
- Monitor grant accounts, track expenses, and provide grant and financial reconciliation.
- E nsure compliance with internal policies, federal and local agency requirements, including FDA and Institutional Review Board regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Negotiate budgets for clinical trials.
- Assist with research participant billing.
- Maintain research practices using Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Participate in required training and education programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
- Specialty research certification, preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in research grant administration.
- Experience with clinical trial budgeting, excellent communication skills, and understanding of federal grant submission guidelines.
