We are looking for a driven and skilled IT Consultant specializing in Microservices to enhance our dynamic team. This role is crucial in spearheading the design and execution of a strategic initiative aimed at deconstructing our existing monolithic applications and migrating towards a microservices framework. The consultant will engage with clients to ascertain their needs or challenges, conduct research, and perform analyses to recommend effective solutions, leveraging expertise in specific technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Develop a comprehensive migration strategy** for transitioning monolithic applications to a microservices architecture, including service decomposition, communication protocols, containerization strategies, and API design principles.

2. **Lead the design and development** of innovative cloud-native applications adhering to microservices best practices, ensuring the selection of appropriate technology stacks and maintaining code quality.

3. **Collaborate with development teams** to implement microservices architecture in existing applications, focusing on API design, microservices development, and system integration.

4. **Possess a profound understanding** of modern distributed systems, containerization technologies (such as Docker), and API gateways.

5. **Effectively communicate complex technical concepts** to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, working closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ensure successful project delivery.

6. **Establish priorities and timelines**, overseeing the work of systems analysis and programming personnel.

7. **Review feasibility studies** and provide time and cost estimates for new or revised systems.

8. **Assist in developing standards, procedures,** and operational systems applications.

9. **Engage with stakeholders and management** to ensure timely project completion in alignment with organizational standards.

10. **Consult with other information systems groups** to coordinate activities effectively.

11. **Participate in project planning**, including key milestones, contingency plans, and workflow diagrams.

12. **Manage the conversion of workflow charts** into computable language and oversee program code entry and testing.

13. **Analyze test runs** and supervise the correction of coded programs and input data.

14. **Revise existing programs** to enhance operational efficiency or adapt to new requirements.

15. **Compile documentation** of program development and subsequent revisions.

16. **Train colleagues** in systems analysis, feasibility studies, programming, and coding.

17. **Prescribe standards** for terms and symbols to simplify program interpretation.

18. **Collaborate with computer manufacturers** and other users to innovate new programming methods.

19. **Prepare records and reports** as necessary.

Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience in software development with a strong focus on microservices architecture. Required 7 Years year college degree in computer science or related field with advanced study preferred.

Required Experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks in Java Required 7 Years Intermediate/advanced knowledge of the AWS services Required Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages (Java JavaScript, Angular).
