Job Summary

This is a travel nursing position for a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on providing top-notch care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have experience working in an ICU or PCU setting, with strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the PCU, assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, maintaining accurate records and monitoring patient responses
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional status, identifying potential risks and implementing interventions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure understanding of treatment plans and progress
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of Washington
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a PCU or ICU setting
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
