Job Summary:
Elwyn New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled Day Program Supervisor to oversee daily activities and assignments at our Day Program and community-based services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs that cater to the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, preferably in a supervisory role. You will work closely with our Program Manager, staff, and stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery, maintain standardized systems according to regulations, policies, and procedures, and develop activity calendars that meet individual requests.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily activities and assignments of direct care and support staff, ensuring smooth operations within Day Program and community-based services
• Develop and coordinate staff training in classroom curricula and community engagement activities
• Provide workflow coordination and monitoring of support staff, including coaching, training, and task assignment
• Link Day and Residential Programs through regular communication and collaboration
• Provide direct care services when necessary, including leading activities, providing instruction, and assisting with daily living needs
• Develop and maintain activity calendars that cater to individual requests and preferences
• Participate in crisis intervention situations, de-escalating and redirecting individuals as needed
• Complete required program documents, such as diet protocols, program notes, and attendance reports
• Assist with transportation and maintain supplies, outreach, and partnerships with the community

Requirements:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, preferably in a supervisory role
* Knowledge of applicable state program regulations and unionized workforce management
* Current valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, and acceptable driving record
