Job Description

AmeriCare Plus is seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Aide to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, feeding, and transferring.
  • Perform home maintenance activities (IADLs) such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with clients and their families.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Document client care and services provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Certification as a CNA, NA, or PCA (exception Companion Aide only to Private Pay).
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Documentation of positive work history as evidenced by at least two work references on file.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • No more than 2 company or state barrier crimes (criminal history check results must meet state and company standards).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
