Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including assessments of patient current needs and treatment recommendations.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including consultation and support to patients in crisis.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Conduct clinically sound suicide risk evaluations and provide consultation and support as needed.
- Provide group psychotherapy and individual counseling sessions to patients.
- Document all care provided to patients, including in-person contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in quality improvement activities, including Quality Improvement Teams and Root Cause Analysis.
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California.
- Experience working in a correctional facility or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Competitive hourly rate of $50-$53.
