Job SummaryThe Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, ensuring that high-quality patient care is provided in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Direct and supervise nursing staff to ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to nursing staff as needed.
- Quality Improvement
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze patient outcomes and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and care plans.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and other stakeholders as required.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
