Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Direct all aspects of decision making as a Servant Leader, ensuring residents receive exceptional care.
- Charge Nurse: Serve as the Charge Nurse for assigned shifts, ensuring residents are well cared for and their needs are met.
- Medication Management: Contribute to all aspects of medication management, including orders, administration, storage, documentation, and adherence to state regulations and company policies.
- Environment of Care: Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and safe at all times.
- Training and Development: Train and educate resident care specialists on individual resident conditions and provide effective, professional, and sensitive care.
- Medication Administration: Assist residents with self-medication or administration of medications as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely documentation of all care provided to residents and complete accident and incident reports as required.
- Relationship Building: Maintain relationships with residents, family members, and responsible parties.
- Emergency Preparedness: Be prepared for and manage emergency situations, including disasters, fires, and other emergencies.
- Licensure: LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) license.
- Experience: Minimum one year in the senior living, Assisted Living, Memory Care environment.
- Physical Demands: Able to stand or walk 75% of the day, concentrate with frequent interruptions, work under stress and in emergency situations, and perform tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, reaching, pulling, pushing, and grasping.
