Job Description:
Video Teleconference Technician - Cisco VOIP Technician

Overview:
The IT and Cyber Security Services Team is in search of a skilled Telecommunications Mechanic to support various operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and document telecommunications activities through various channels including requests and helpdesk inquiries.
  • Oversee telephone switchboard operations, providing technical support and troubleshooting for telecommunications systems.
  • Deliver comprehensive telecommunications support, including system order validation, programming of PBX and VoIP systems, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Facilitate local IT and network operations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Enhance the design and architecture of IT infrastructure.
  • Identify and integrate emerging IT solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement industry best practices to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Develop new systems while upgrading existing infrastructure to meet evolving mission requirements.
  • Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of enterprise-wide IT solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED with over eight (8) years of relevant experience in Cisco VoIP technical support.
  • Alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with five (5) years of experience in VoIP operations.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is also acceptable.
  • SECRET Clearance is mandatory.
  • US Citizenship is required.

Compensation:
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is approximately $36.70, subject to experience and geographic location.
