Payroll Coordinator Expert

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team in Winnsboro, SC. As a payroll coordinator, you will be responsible for processing payroll using the County's automated system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration and familiarity with automated time management software. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.

This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $20-$25/hour. The standard weekday schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM.

In this role, you will:

• Process payroll using the County's automated payroll system.
• Submit payroll reports and electronic transactions to financial institutions and governmental agencies.
• Maintain and reconcile confidential employee records.
• Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries and deduction changes.

To qualify for this position, you must have an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
