Tire Technician

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires, and maintaining tire bay policies and procedures.

• Install Tires: Properly install tires, including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Maintain Tire Bay: Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area, merchandising tire displays and automotive products.
• Provide Member Service: Ensure that knowledgeable service is provided to members at the tire desk, coordinating with Home Office regarding member tire needs as needed.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and complete supply inventory, understanding and appropriately utilizing available special-order tire programs.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and properly utilize tire bay equipment.

• Certifications: Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
• Lift and Move: Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance, frequently requiring lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
• Environmental Conditions: Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures and weather conditions, most of the time spent standing and moving about continuously on hard surfaces.

The estimated salary for this position is $15.50 per hour.
