Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Skilled Nursing Facility

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to work in a skilled nursing facility in Des Moines, Iowa.

Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will work with patients who are ill, injured, or disabled to help them regain independence and quality of life. You will review medical histories, develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans for patients
  • Review medical histories and assess patient needs
  • Recommend equipment and supplies to support patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility
  • Degree in relevant field
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license
