Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing complex and interpretive financial analyses, developing periodic reports, and working with the finance team on the annual budget process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning and profitability reporting for specific brand or corporate functions
  • Providing detailed analytical support to foster strategic decisions
  • Overseeing financial report development and enhancements in Adaptive Insights
  • Consulting with other team members to analyze opportunities and alternatives for improving financial performance
  • Engaging in project planning and implementation
  • Key contributor to the annual budget process
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financials and financial close package
  • Performing ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
  • Developing and delivering analytical reporting in Adaptive Insights and MS Excel
  • Participating in process improvement and automation as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or Math
  • MBA preferred, CPA or other professional qualification is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field required
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes and principles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately model financial aspects and outcomes using spreadsheets or other applicable tools
  • Experience in relational database management and report writing
  • Knowledge of Workday ERP accounting software and Adaptive Insights is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial modeling
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with good project management skills and ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to identify variances and trends
