About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team at ReSoil Compost. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with customers, and promoting our premium-quality compost products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our available services and pricing structures
  • Conduct market research on product pricing, availability, variety, and delivery options
  • Establish long-term business relationships with existing clients to drive revenue growth
  • Build relationships and increase company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities, trade shows, and similar events
  • Track daily activity, customer interactions, and sales in our CRM system; ensure customer information is up-to-date
  • Enter sales orders in the system, schedule deliveries, and communicate orders to the facility
  • Research, prospect, and acquire new accounts
  • Coordinate compost sales; create, plan, and execute marketing campaign ideas; communicate via phone, online chat, and email; manage online sales
  • Support our company's sustainability values and strategies
  • Manage social media accounts
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous marketing or sales experience; agricultural sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • CRM knowledge a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build and nurture internal and external customer relationships
  • Ability to be a team-player for overall company success
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets preferred
  • General understanding of the environment and sustainability best practices
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to periodically lift up to 50 lbs without assistance

This position operates in several different environments, including home office and field environments.
