Job Summary

The Evening Operations Manager is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing the evening functions of the Nursing Department. This role requires strong leadership and supervisory skills, as well as the ability to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Health Services and Assistant Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the evening functions of the Nursing Department.
  • Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Supervise and oversee all resident care, according to assessed resident status and established plan of care.
  • Complete nursing admission assessments and baseline care planning for new admissions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of skilled documentation.
  • Perform other administrative duties as necessary, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
Requirements
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
  • Must be able to make independent decisions concerning job duties.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, vendors, and the general public.
  • Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of employment.
