VetUrgency is a client-focused urgent care hospital seeking a part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team in Frederick, MD. As a compassionate and empathetic individual, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and make friendly eye contact with clients, offering a warm and professional acknowledgement.
  • Provide clear and concise communication, speaking slowly and calmly in person and on the telephone.
  • Assess clients' needs and determine the urgency of their visit.
  • Respond to non-patient calls and visitors, connecting them to the appropriate team member.
  • Confirm appointments in advance, ensuring clients receive accurate information about preparing their pet for the appointment.
  • Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients in a compassionate and discreet manner.
