Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Family Birth Center. As a Perinatal RN, you will provide high-quality care to families from antepartum to postpartum and newborn care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Family Birth Center and other nursing capacities as needed.
  • Assist with stabilization and routine care of the neonate.
  • Participate in secretarial, housekeeping, and other duties to maintain a smooth operation of the department.
Requirements
  • Valid Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, fetal monitoring, and other relevant certifications.
  • Perinatal nursing experience required.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to move about the facility, bend, reach, balance, climb, lift, push, pull, walk, stand, and crouch. Verbal and auditory acuity is necessary for over-the-phone reporting, hearing patients' requests, and auditory assessment. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
