Design Consultant

We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, a leading designer and builder of custom outdoor living spaces. We seek professionals with expertise in residential design and sales to join our team.

As a Design Consultant, you will be responsible for all sales activities, including consultative selling and recommending solutions to clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized design and sales solutions.

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
• Ensure exceptional customer service by providing a friendly environment and maintaining product knowledge
• Follow up on new leads and referrals from marketing activities
• Actively pursue self-generated leads through local trade organizations and industry relationships
• Participate in marketing events, such as seminars and trade shows
• Identify, qualify, and follow through on sales prospects
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
• Develop and maintain current product knowledge of deck, porch, and outdoor living product categories
• Establish and maintain a current client and potential client database
• Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the Business Owner

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years minimum of previous sales experience and a proven ability to achieve sales quotas
• Basic knowledge of construction
• Ability to learn how to read and interpret construction drawings
• Strong reading, writing, arithmetic, and interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity and comfort with modern communication and computing technology
• Interest in arts, design, and helping people
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations
• Ability to learn quickly to adapt to new environments/situations and innovate with regard to products, methods, and processes

Flexible work from home options available. Compensation: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year.
