Vanguardhc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Cook to join our team. As a Dietary Cook, you will play a critical role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including therapeutic diets, according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• Menu Planning: Assist in planning and reviewing menus to ensure they meet the dietary needs of our residents.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing food and supply inventory to ensure that we have the necessary resources to prepare meals.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and departments to ensure seamless food service operations.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or certification preferred.
• Experience: At least one year of experience as a cook or in food preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
