About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist at Reliant Rehabilitation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute hospitals. Our team is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients and residents, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including screening, evaluation, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient functionality and skills.
  • Supervise and direct certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians in skilled tasks during group and individual treatment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facilities and clients, promoting positive levels of interaction and rapport.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid occupational therapist state license (where applicable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend in English.
