Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to calls for service and assistance
- Patrolling campus areas and enforcing laws and regulations
- Investigating incidents and preparing reports
- Providing emergency response and medical assistance
- Working closely with the college community to reduce and mitigate conflicts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Basic Law Enforcement Academy
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a 3-year safe driving record
- Licensed Texas Peace Officer
We are looking for candidates with:
- Two or more years of experience in law enforcement
- An Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
This role requires:
- Working a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exposure to various hazards and physical risks
