Key Responsibilities- Direct Patient Care
- Provide comprehensive evaluations to identify patient problems and develop treatment plans according to physical therapy standards and departmental procedures.
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, modalities, and education.
- Document patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and care provided in the medical record.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement
- Participate in quality assurance activities to improve physical therapy services.
- Suggest areas for improvement to colleagues and department leadership.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Attend and participate in clinical patient rounds and conferences as required.
- Communicate observations, facts, and comments to interdisciplinary team members.
- Education and Training
- Attend physical therapy in-service training programs.
- Suggest in-service topics and speakers.
The University of Maryland Medical System is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physical Therapist I, Part-Time, Inpatient to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- A Maryland physical therapy license.
- Excellent clinical skills and strong communication abilities.
- A passion for delivering patient-centered care.
