Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Style Consultant to join our team. As a Style Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment, providing exceptional guest service, and driving sales growth through effective visual merchandising and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • Create a personalized shopping experience for guests, ensuring they feel valued and empowered to make informed purchasing decisions.
    • Provide expert advice on apparel and accessories, leveraging your knowledge of current trends and styles.
    • Resolve guest questions and concerns promptly, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Visual Merchandising
    • Develop and execute visually appealing store displays, showcasing products in a way that drives sales and engagement.
    • Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends, ensuring our store looks and feels fresh and exciting.
    • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create a cohesive and compelling store environment.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our apparel and accessories products, including features, benefits, and pricing.
    • Stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and sales events.
    • Use this knowledge to make informed recommendations to guests, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Operations
    • Ensure the sales floor is stocked, replenished, and organized, maintaining a high level of visual appeal.
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and mobile payments.
    • Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Teamwork
    • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and support each other in achieving exceptional guest service.
    • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in fashion, merchandising, or a related field preferred.
    • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a fashion or apparel-related role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong knowledge of fashion trends, styles, and products.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
