POSITION SUMMARY

As part of the embedded development team at OpTech, you will engage in the analysis, design, and development of innovative embedded solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in both the creation of new designs and the enhancement of existing embedded systems.
  • Conduct detailed technical design of system architecture and FPGA components in accordance with project specifications.
  • Develop and implement unit testing protocols.
  • Execute comprehensive system testing procedures.
  • Maintain and update documentation reflecting work completed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in VHDL for the development of embedded systems.
  • Experience with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes in embedded product development.
  • Familiarity with System on a Chip (SoC) design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of electrical schematic design principles.
  • Adept at troubleshooting and debugging existing systems.
  • Strong grasp of Object-Oriented design principles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of programming software technologies.
  • Awareness of software development lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with software design patterns.
