Job Summary
Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Helper to join our team of fire protection professionals. As a Fire Alarm Helper, you will assist with the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems under the direct supervision of a licensed Fire Alarm Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of fire alarm equipment, including wiring, testing, and commissioning.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty components.
- Interact with customers, contractors, vendors, and other employees in a professional and respectful manner.
- Accurately complete required daily paperwork and reports.
- Work safely, following OSHA and Firetrol safety policies and practices.
Requirements
- Work experience, training, or education in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of alarm systems or related equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a variety of businesses and institutions, including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and government facilities.
- Must possess or be willing and able to obtain any applicable state licenses.
- A current Driver's License is preferred.
- Must be able to satisfy State, Federal, and Customs background check requirements.
