Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at Duly Health and Care, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs (x-rays) of the body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Position patients on examining tables and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of specific body areas.

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation.

• Move x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.

• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.

• Obtain patients' pertinent medical histories.

• Maintain crash carts and inventory levels.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and department objectives.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to two years of related experience and/or training.

• AART registration or eligibility and IDNS licensure.

• CPR certification.

Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work evening and holiday shifts, with responsibility for the operation of the department. You will assist with film quality control and report to the lead technologist for work assignments.
