FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Position Summary: Under general supervision, you will work collaboratively on the production line to assemble manufactured housing, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing manual labor tasks as assigned.
  • Exhibiting strong attention to detail.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Utilizing measuring tools accurately.
  • Interpreting blueprints and production orders.
  • Communicating effectively with team members.
  • Employing hand tools, pneumatic tools, and electric tools as necessary.

  • Demonstrated strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work efficiently and methodically.
  • Understanding of safety protocols.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities.
  • Commitment to Champion Operating Principles.

Qualifications:

  • Less than a high school diploma; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience in construction or manufacturing of modular housing is preferred.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position require regular standing, use of hands for handling and feeling, reaching, and effective communication. The role may involve frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
