About the Role:
The Sales Support Specialist, also known as the Arborist Assistant, plays a vital role in providing exceptional sales and customer service support to our team of Sales Arborists. This position is responsible for working alongside tree and lawn care experts to deliver seamless, high-level service to our residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide sales support through making outbound sales calls, generating leads, creating proposals, scheduling appointments, and maintaining multiple sales calendars.
- Offer world-class customer service by answering incoming customer calls, building positive rapport, and processing payments.
- Support the branch location by administering the customer database and files, completing paperwork accurately and efficiently, and providing general administrative and office support to Sales Arborists.
- Participate in call monitoring and coaching sessions for training and quality support purposes.
Requirements:
- A desire to learn and grow within the business and Arboricultural industry.
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
- Previous success with outbound calling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Database systems desired (training will be provided on our programs).
- Experience with AR, AP, Payroll, HR, Benefits, and multiline phone systems.
- 2+ years of experience in sales/marketing a plus.
- An eye for excellence, with accuracy and attention to detail being foundational to success.
- Must be authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
