Position Overview:

As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that pharmaceutical products are produced in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting and verifying production activities in batch records, logbooks, and controlled forms.
  • Executing essential tasks in an aseptic filling environment, which encompass:
    • Maintaining cleanliness in cGMP areas.
    • Conducting line changeovers and parts preparation.
    • Performing filter integrity testing.
    • Operating parts washers and autoclaves.
    • Loading and unloading trays.
    • Managing the filling isolator operations.
    • Troubleshooting equipment alarms.

Qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience in pharmaceuticals or mechanical fields is preferred.
  • An Associate's degree with at least 1 year of manufacturing experience is acceptable.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, even without prior manufacturing experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills are essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
  • Capability to adhere to SOPs is crucial.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a clean-room environment that is controlled for temperature and humidity, with minimal ambient noise.
  • Willingness to wear appropriate gowning, including gloves, hair and beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses, while avoiding makeup and jewelry.
  • Understanding of chemical hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Occasional lifting and handling of up to 25 pounds unassisted.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment, requiring forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Position demands ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination to navigate office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods; capable of lifting, carrying, and moving light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds.
