Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join our team at Marathon Petroleum Corporation. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the team to implement performance tuning strategies and optimize system resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Contribute to the design and configuration of hardware and software systems.
- Participate in knowledge sharing activities and collaborate with team members to improve documentation and information sharing.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure uninterrupted system performance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure compliance with governance, regulation, and security standards.
- Administer cybersecurity protection platforms and tools for endpoint management.
- Monitor and maintain audit and vulnerability scans.
- Oversee periodic system patching activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with OT related systems and processes.
- Experience managing enterprise-level backup solutions.
- Experience with Windows System Administration and Virtualization System Administration.
- Experience with managing periodic system updates and security patching.
- Experience with intrusion detection systems (IDS).
