Job Summary

Andrie LLC is seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery on our vessels, including preventative maintenance of all machinery. You will also ensure that tools, equipment, parts, and supplies are cleaned, organized, and inventoried. Additionally, you will retain maintenance logs, supply orders, equipment lists, and report unsafe conditions to the Master and take action to prevent accidents. You will also ensure that the Engine Department is operated in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and Andrie LLC Standard Operating Procedures. You will train subordinates as required and assist the Port Engineer and Director of Engineering in the efficient planning and execution of approved annual maintenance projects. You will have knowledge of all vessel systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, diesel, propulsion, and auxiliaries. You will also have basic computer skills and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Possess, at minimum, a DDE 4000 USCG License
• Valid CPR, First Aid, and Firefighting Certificates
• Possess a current Passport
• Possess a current TWIC
