We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide and teach diagnostic procedures in radiologic imaging, maintaining knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols.
- Prepare and assist radiologists in completing intricate radiographic procedures, adhering to departmental protocols and policies.
- Perform patient assessments, provide patient care, and evaluate the appropriateness of examinations and radiographic images.
- Ensure accurate patient demographic information, critique and orient images, and transmit QA-ed images to PACS.
- Perform work in a timely manner, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and documenting incidents and improvement opportunities.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible, with a commitment to maintaining registry status and continuing education requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
