About the Job: As a Deli Associate at Safeway, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computerized cash registers and electronic scales in the store delicatessen to weigh, wrap, itemize, and total customers' purchases.
- Take deli orders face-to-face or by phone.
- Prepare deli food for hot and cold deli cases.
- Slice and wrap meats and cheeses for special orders or to fill deli cases.
- Prepare deli fruit or seasonal trays for display or special orders.
