About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at SIG. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network architecture to support business growth and expansion
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring high availability and uptime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network-related issues
  • Develop and implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to our network infrastructure

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in LAN network support, with expertise in troubleshooting OSI Layer 1-3 problems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of network hardware, local area networks, internet protocols, fiber and copper wiring standards, Ethernet, and wireless technologies
  • Scripting experience in Python or Perl is a plus
