About the Role
This is a part-time PRN position working 8 hours per week in Diagnostic Radiology. The Clinical Nurse Specialist provides total comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families through the implementation of a plan of care. The plan is based upon the patients' developmental and healthcare needs identified through assessment of the patients' physical, psychological, socioeconomic status, and physician orders regarding care, treatment, and education.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services. Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcomes. Other duties as deemed necessary.
Educational Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Critical Care Course or certification in critical care preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in Special Procedures preferred.
- Critical Care or Emergency Room Experience required.
License to practice in SC or Compact Licensure Agreement
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary range for this position: $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience.
