About the Role

Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with brain injuries live independently at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to assist individuals in reaching their highest level of motor functioning and mobility.
  • Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, and caregivers to identify goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine the best methods and strategies for therapies.
  • Document sessions and progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress tracking.
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers on strategies and techniques for supporting individuals with brain injuries.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and maintain a professional rapport with consumers, colleagues, and community agencies.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a physical therapy program from an accredited university.
  • Current licensure in the state of Kansas.
  • Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic to moderate technology skills, including proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
